SupplyLinxx Services and Capabilities

Wireless Web-enabled LAN and WAN Service
Supplylinxx was specifically designed to integrate a wireless LAN and WAN user base and connect every individual to the Supply Chain live, in real-time.  LAN wireless integration is achieved using RF, Web-based communications.  WAN wireless integration is achieved with both RF, Web-based communications as well as with WAP via cellular network.  Mobile, RF, web-enabled devices can connect to the Supply Chain from multiple locations, anywhere in the world.

Wireless WAP-enabled Service
SupplyLinxx integrates WAP-enabled devices directly into the Supply Chain.  Any cellular phone equipped with a WAP standard micro-browser is tied directly into SupplyLinxx anywhere in the world where WAP communications is supported.

ASP supported SupplyLinxx service
SupplyLinxx is hosted by Dee Electronics as the Application Service Provider (ASP) via the internet, leaving next to zero IT responsibilities on your organization in terms of supporting/managing the system.

Wireless Equipment Solutions from Intermec Technologies
Dee Electronics is an authorized Solutions Partner and Value Added Reseller of Intermec Technologies mobile communications and data collection equipment solutions.  Intermec manufactures a complete line of wireless, LAN and WAN computing devices, including Web-enabled devices, like the Intermec 5020 Web-enabled Mobile Computer.  Wireless connectivity is crucial to Supply Chain optimization, as a significant part of the supply chain links are mobile, and most times disconnected from the chain.  Intermec mobile computing solutions are major drivers of cost reduction and supply chain synthesis.

XML Integration and communications
SupplyLinxx was developed to incorporate XML (Extensible Markup Language), the "new EDI" which allows computer-to-computer automated transactions to occur regardless of which platform these computers are running.  SupplyLinxx does not require the user organization to expend resources developing XML communications, but rather XML has been imbedded into SupplyLinxx as one of the core communications choices between Supply Chain Link Partners, and is dynamically auto-generated from the SupplyLinxx using organization.  If a Supply Chain partner can accept XML transactions to automate their operations, communicating to them via XML is done simply by selecting XML as the transmission method of choice for the Supplier.
